Kendal Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

These terms govern your use of Kendal, a voice-first scheduling assistant operated by Volveron LLC (“Volveron,” “we,” “us,” “our”), including the Kendal iOS app and Kendal’s SMS text-messaging service. By using Kendal, or by opting in to receive text messages from Kendal, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

Kendal helps you plan your day, set reminders, and manage your schedule. You can talk to Kendal in the iOS app, and, if you opt in, you can text Kendal to get the same scheduling help by SMS. Kendal responds to the requests you send it. The service is provided “as is” and may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time.

3. SMS Messaging Program

The Kendal SMS program is operated by Kendal (Volveron Solutions). It is a two-way, user-initiated service: Kendal only sends you messages in response to requests you send it. Kendal does not send promotional or marketing broadcasts.

  • How to opt in: submit the sign-up form on the Kendal page with your mobile number and check the consent box. Consent is captured only when you check that box; the box is not pre-checked.
  • Message frequency: message frequency varies and depends on how often you text Kendal.
  • Cost: message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates apply. Kendal does not charge you for the SMS service itself.
  • Opt out: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe at any time. You will receive a single confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which no further messages will be sent unless you opt in again.
  • Help: reply HELP for assistance, or email hello@volveron.com.
  • Not a condition: consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing or using any Volveron or Kendal product or service.
  • Privacy: we will not share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes. See the Kendal Privacy Policy for full detail on how SMS data is handled.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to effective transmission by your carrier and is not guaranteed.

4. Eligibility

The Kendal SMS service is available to users with United States mobile numbers. By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder for, or are authorized to use, the mobile number you provide, and that you are old enough to consent under applicable law.

5. AI Features

Kendal’s responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate or complete. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming anything important before you rely on it. Volveron LLC is not liable for consequences arising from AI-generated responses.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Volveron LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Kendal or the Kendal SMS service.

7. Changes

We may update these terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Kendal after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
